Behind the Scenes on the City's First-Ever Portland Arts Week

For the first time in Portland’s history, the city is launching Portland Arts Week, a new, city-wide celebration of visual and performing arts.

Join us for an exclusive preview of this inaugural event with founder and chair Elizabeth Leach, owner of Elizabeth Leach Gallery and founder of Converge 45, a triennial arts event for the Portland Metro. Elizabeth will share the vision behind Portland Arts Week, why she felt now was the right time to launch it, and what she hopes it will become for the city.

We’ll also get a closer look at the week’s programming, including gallery exhibitions across Portland, the symposium at the Portland Art Museum, and a special evening focused on the performing arts.

This event is organized by EO Member Arielle Weedman, who is Vice Chair of the volunteer committee behind this amazing event.

Exclusive access to:

  • The vision behind the first-ever Portland Arts Week from the inaugural Chair

  • Discussion of the week’s exhibitions, symposium, and performing arts programming

  • Lessons from building large-scale cultural events in Portland

Evergreen Aviation Museum

Exclusive EO access inside the Spruce Goose, plus museum admission and plenty of time to explore.

Ever since our unforgettable dinner during Camp Wondermore, many of us have been wondering: What’s it actually like inside the Spruce Goose?

Now’s your chance to find out.

Join EO Portland for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes private tour of the legendary Hughes H-4 Hercules — better known as the Spruce Goose — at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in McMinnville, Oregon. This special experience is being led by EO Member Zac Cramer.

Our group will have special access to explore areas rarely seen, including:

  • The flight deck

  • The cargo area

  • The cockpit

  • And more hidden corners of this aviation icon

There will also be plenty of incredible photo opportunities throughout the experience.

We’ll begin with a private 30-minute guided tour of the aircraft, after which attendees are free to explore the rest of the museum at their own pace.

Whether you’re an aviation enthusiast, history buff, engineer-at-heart, or just love unique experiences with fellow EOers, this is your invitation to come nerd out with us.

All ages are welcome, making this a fun summer experience for members, spouses, partners, kids, and guests.
