>How would you describe your leadership style?
I feel that my leadership style is one of adaptability and coaching. I like to assess the situation and adapt my approach based on what is needed. Does the situation call for hand-on guidance? Are there skills that need to be developed? What questions can I ask to help empower the individual to think critically and solve problems?

>As Controller, what you are looking forward to in the next six months [as of August 2025]?
Over the past few years, we have been doing a lot of generational clean up, and I am excited for the next phase of the company. One of the first steps is to implement new software for one of our businesses. I am looking forward to seeing how this software will help streamline and modernize processes.

>What was your first job?
My first job was at a fast-food restaurant, and I was promoted to assistant manager as soon as I turned 18. Having never been in a supervisory role before, I struggled with managing staff that were my friends and others that were older than me. I was fortunate to have a general manager who worked with me and taught me many skills that I still use today.

>How do you unwind after a long day?
After a long day, I like to unwind by knitting. I usually have two ongoing projects going on at the same time; one that is straightforward knitting and the other that has a more complicated pattern. I find the repetitive motion of knitting really calming and helps clear my mind.

>What's a favorite EO moment for you?
My favorite EO moments are when I am connecting with my Forum. Networking doesn’t come easy to me, so I was hesitant at first at the thought of committing to a monthly meeting with strangers. Now, I look forward to spending time with them, and am extremely grateful for the opportunity.
