Mission

At the Oregon Executive MBA, we provide experienced professionals an exceptional business education that empowers them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to realize their full potential.

MBA Overview

The Oregon Executive MBA removes the traditional barriers of location, schedule, and professional disruption, offering a high-impact MBA program designed specifically for working leaders.

The program’s schedule is custom-built for busy people, with classes just twice a month on Fridays and Saturdays. All classes take place at the University of Oregon’s new campus in Northeast Portland. The program takes 20 months to complete, with students taking the summer off between their first and second years.

Who it’s for

MBA students and alumni work in just about every industry in the region and hold a wide range of roles, including:

  • CEO, founder, or partner

  • Key executive or leader holding mid- to senior-level management role

  • Student average is 10 years of managerial experience; minimum qualification is 3 years

Signature Features

  • Immersive orientation prepares professionals to get back into the classroom—for most incoming students, it’s been a while since their student days.

  • A global trip jumpstarts students’ second year. The approximately 10-day trip typically includes stays in two countries. During company visits and panel discussions, students hear directly from business leaders working in a range of industries.

  • A second-year capstone project enables students to pursue their own business ideas in depth, supported by faculty and mentors

  • World-class faculty — a mix of University of Oregon scholars and leading Portland-area professionals with on-the-ground business expertise.

  • An extensive alumni network that’s welcoming and supportive
