Meet Steven Olsen, President
Steve is an accomplished trial lawyer and serial entrepreneur.
For 25 years, Steve has helped businesses, business owners and government entities resolve complicated disputes. He maintains a national practice, serving clients across the country. For nearly ten years, Steve was the Chair of the Litigation Department for one of Portland’s largest law firms.
Several years ago, Steve took advantage of opportunities to engage in entrepreneurial endeavors. He successfully organized, capitalized, grew and exited a sizeable business focused on developing economic opportunities for Native American Tribes.
For the past several years, Steve has focused his attention and energies on growing Flying Pig. He, and his company, bring the highest ethical standards to the payment processing industry to ensure customers receive the right payment solutions at the right price.
Steve holds degrees from the United States Coast Guard Academy (B.S., Management); Tulane University (MPH, Env. Health Mgt.) and the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D.).
Meet Taylor Hopper, Sales Vice President
Taylor Hopper is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Flying Pig. She helps businesses reduce costs and scale through ethical and transparent merchant services. Taylor has over seven years of accounting and business development experience in financial services and operational consulting.
Taylor began her career in merchant services, working for four years as a Staff Accountant and Portfolio Analyst. She transitioned to professional services, working as a Staff Accountant and working her way up to Market President at Now CFO.
Taylor took her talents to Flying Pig to lead sales and marketing efforts. Taylor relies on her expertise in accounting, finance, and business strategy to help companies operate more efficiently.
Taylor graduated from Westmont College and earned her MBA from Portland State University. A former All-American volleyball player, she continues to bring the same discipline, teamwork, and competitive drive to her professional career.
